Position Summary:
The Arizona Warehouse Utility employee plays a critical dual role supporting both warehouse operations and product assembly. This position is responsible for receiving and shipping materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and assembling high-quality products according to established work instructions and quality standards.
This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Job Description The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assemble and kit parts according to Work Instructions and Assembly Instructions using hand and power tools
- Ensure all parts are properly assembled, bagged, and labeled
- Enter completed work into the computer system and track progress
- Perform quality checks to identify and correct defects before final production
- Prepare items for shipment, verifying information against invoices, bills of lading, and orders
- Determine proper shipment methods and inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Receive incoming materials, verify contents, and stock inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, tools, and equipment
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday (6:00 am – 2:30 pm; subject to change. Occasional overtime required
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain Nemco certification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Experience with inventory systems and cycle counting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Physical Requirements:
- Standing: Most tasks performed standing with intermittent walking
- Walking: Frequent short distances
- Lifting: Frequently 5–60 lbs.; occasionally team lift up to 100 lbs.
- Carrying: Occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing/Pulling: Move carts and skids using hand trucks
- Bending: Occasional bending
- Reaching, Handling, Gripping: Frequent
