Director Clinical Operations (PTOC) at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: This position assures and promotes continuity and efficient operation of the Nursing Services Department, and all other departments as necessary, on evening, night, and weekend shifts. This is accomplished by representing Administration during the absence of Senior Management, Sr. Directors, and Department Directors. The Clinical Nursing Director is accountable to provide adequate and appropriate allocation of nursing staff, to act as a resource to the customers of NKC Health and to resolve urgent facility problems.

EXPERIENCE: 3 years nursing experience; Critical Care experience required; management experience preferred.

OTHER: Excellent problem solving and communication abilities; basic computer skills.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), MONC (Missouri Notary Certificate) within 6 months of hire

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Nursing, Preferred: Masters - Nursing, Masters - Health Care Management
