About This Position
About Fuku
Fuku® is a quick, chef-driven eatery from David Chang, known for its signature, craveable spicy fried chicken sandwich. Born in 2015 as part of Chang’s Momofuku family of restaurants, the “OG Sando” started as a secret menu item at Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York City’s East Village and has since grown into a national foodie favorite. Drawing culinary influences from Asian and Southern American flavors, Fuku embraces a bold, outside-the-box approach to both food and brand culture. Fuku is on a mission to provide quality, hand-crafted food with a twist for everyone to enjoy anywhere. The company currently has 15 locations in major stadiums, arenas, and ballparks across the U.S., with additional dine-in locations planned for new markets in 2026, including a second South Florida location in West Palm Beach.
About the role
Fuku is looking for a strong operator and people leader to support the new restaurant opening and long-term success of our upcoming West Palm Beach location. The General Manager leads the restaurant and is responsible for building a high-performing team, running a disciplined operation, and bringing Fuku’s brand and hospitality to life every single day.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, chef-driven brand and lead a restaurant from the ground up. As the first General Manager of our West Palm Beach location, you will play a critical role in partnering with Operations, People & Culture, and our Training Manager to execute a successful New Restaurant Opening. From hiring and onboarding the team to leading training and learning Fuku’s systems and standards, you will be deeply involved in building the foundation of the restaurant before carrying it forward post-opening.
You will lead all aspects of the opening process, including recruiting and developing your management team, supporting hourly hiring, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality training experience across both FOH and BOH. Post-opening, you will continue to set the standard for operational excellence, team development, and guest experience.
At Fuku, our General Managers are operators and people leaders in equal measure. You create the conditions for your team to grow, hold the bar for quality and accountability, and ensure every guest leaves wanting to come back.
Our mission is simple: We’re writing our own recipe. Unique flavors, genuine service, and quality that speaks for itself. It’s more than a meal, it’s about bringing people together. The General Manager plays a critical role in bringing that mission to life every day.
