Associate Attorney – Casualty Defense Litigation at Clausen Miller P.C. – New York, New York

Clausen Miller P.C. is a nationally recognized insurance defense firm with decades of experience representing major insurers and self-insured clients across complex litigation matters. We’re growing our New York litigation team and looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to work closely with a Senior Partner on a dynamic caseload spanning casualty defense, premises liability, and automobile liability.

This is a hands-on role from day one — you’ll be taking depositions, making court appearances, and developing your litigation skills within a collaborative, well-resourced team.

• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review
• Perform legal research and case analysis
• Appear in New York and New Jersey courts as needed

• 3–5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, or automobile liability
• Active New York bar admission required; New Jersey bar admission required (or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Detail-oriented, self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment

• Salary: $105,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience
