The Human Resources Strategic Business Partner develops and implements human resource strategies in alignment with Health System objectives through partnership with assigned departments and leader groups. Serving as an HR consultant and an extension of HR leadership, the Human Resources Strategic Business Partner works closely with leadership and staff to translate business strategies and objectives into results-oriented human resources solutions by ensuring that each leader is equipped with the most effective workforce to achieve a positive culture, highest productivity and operational effectiveness. The Human Resources Strategic Business Partner brings a significant level of HR expertise and partners with department leadership and HR Leadership, other internal departments and external consultants.
The Human Resources Strategic Business Partner works collaboratively with leadership and acts in a supporting capacity to assist with the planning, development and execution of people management practices, such as employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention, reward and recognition, recruitment strategies, talent management, organizational learning, continuous improvement initiatives, employee safety, productivity improvement, and technology-enabled processes. The positions serves as a coach and mentor for senior leadership in leading a performance excellence culture. Using business and workforce data, the position analyzes, diagnoses and provides business insights to resolve current or future problems identified. Suggests specific and best practice leadership tools, training and techniques. Assists and provides counsel for any organization design, job design and reorganization efforts needed for performance improvement or strategy alignment. Provides guidance and interpretation of HR Policies and manages employee relations consultants and support. This position supports compliance with HR related standards of accreditations, Blessing Health System policies and Federal, State and Local laws.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
