Gretchen's House Child Care Centers are seeking dedicated and experienced Lead Preschool Teachers to join our educational teams in Ann Arbor. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, implementing curriculum, and guiding a team of educators to ensure the highest quality of education for our students.

Regular work schedules are Monday through Friday, 7:45-4:45, 8:00-5:00, 8:15-5:15.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners

- Lead and mentor a team of teachers, providing support and guidance in instructional practices

- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes

- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration

- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress and classroom activities

- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices

- Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field
• Proven experience in early childhood education and in a leadership role
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
• Proficient in using technology and educational software
• CPR/First Aid
• Current TB Test
• Current Physical
• Appropriate Attendance
• Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children, co-workers and families
