Facility Maintenance Technician at La Vaquita Flea Market – Pendergrass, Georgia

Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician

With over 500 vendors representing countries from around the world, our market offers 700+ selling spaces, featuring everything from new and used merchandise to seasonal vegetables and freshly made food.
Job Description: We are in search of a highly motivated and self-driven Maintenance Technician/ Groundskeeper to join our dynamic team. This role holds the responsibility of keyholder, overseeing facility opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Prioritizing and completing maintenance requests, which encompass basic building repairs, painting, cleaning, landscaping, item relocation, and assisting with pest control.
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring the upkeep of cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
• Reporting needed repairs and replacements encountered during work.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of all public areas.
• Properly disposing of trash from bins and containers.
• Completing other assignments as delegated by the Facilities & Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or groundskeeping required.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Weekdays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekends: 5:30 AM - 8:00 PM
