Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join Hines Italy’s Asset Management in Milan who would support senior team members on wide range of activities. The successful candidate will:

  • Update financial models with actuals and forecasts
  • Conduct financial analysis and sensitivities on the models, comparing returns outcome
  • Support on the asset management activities, including leasing and sale processes
  • Provide financial and qualitative analysis and prepare investment memos for Board Approvals
  • Draft documents and presentations for internal/external use and governance bodies
  • Liaise with third parties as investors, lenders, brokers, tenants and legal/tax advisors
  • Join commercial due diligence activities including market analysis and lease reviews
  • Support the project management team on the technical activities


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Studied or are studying towards a degree in Economics, Finance or Real Estate
  • The preferred candidate has already completed all the exams (or close to) and is the process of preparing the final dissertation
  • No prior real estate experience is required, however a strong interest in the field and willingness to learn are fundamental. Strong passion for real estate sector
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent command of English (particularly written)
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proactive and autonomous approach
  • Able to manage different tasks under pressure
  • Understand the mechanics of the Italian real estate market and the entire asset management process
