General Pediatrics Physician - Telemedicine at Pediatric Associates – Plantation, Florida

• This is a part-time position
• Openings for early morning, evening and weekend hours

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: (This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned.)

1. Delivers and directs patient care within scope of practice.
2. Communicates effectively with staff.
3. Consults and coordinates with health care providers working at any location.
4. Works with all other staff in the office as a member of the office and the system.
5. Works in coordination with the Quality Assurance Team and management to develop and implement a quality assurance program.

Education:

1. M.D. or D.O. degree required
2. Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
3. Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida or Texas
4. Current, Unrestricted Florida or Texas state specific DEA license
5. Board Eligible or Board Certification appropriate for degree certified within five years of finishing training.
6. Meets all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and required privileges.

Licensure/Certification:

1. Current, unrestricted license in the State of Florida and /or Texas required
2. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Experience:

1. Experience in General Pediatrics
