The position involves close collaboration with lenders, borrowers, and internal teams to provide a seamless and professional closing experience. The Operations Escrow Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end escrow and closing operations with precision and compliance:
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with borrowers and lender partners.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of lenders.
- Identify, address, and resolve curative issues, coordinating directly with borrowers or lenders.
- Prepare and review all necessary documentation, including deeds, subordinations, settlement statements, and affidavits.
- Conduct pre-close quality reviews of title and escrow documents, ensuring accuracy of lender instructions, vesting, signatures, and dates.
- Complete closings efficiently and accurately, including balancing closing disclosures and coordinating with notaries/signing agents.
- Perform post-close file reviews to ensure proper disbursement of funds and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to established quality and compliance standards, and manage escalations effectively.
Candidates should have a combination of technical escrow expertise, customer service experience, and strong organizational skills:
- Minimum 5 years of title and escrow experience with a proven track record of success.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with executive-level lender contacts.
- Expertise in reviewing and understanding title searches, commitments, and curative items.
- Proficient in handling heavy call volumes and communicating clearly via phone, email, and remote meetings.
- Ability to operate strategically, multitask, and proactively manage priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with knowledge of general escrow practices, title insurance, regulatory guidelines, and legal documents.
- Open-mindedness to process changes, continuous system updates, and enhancements.
- Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to navigate company-provided resources; Resware experience is a plus.

- Base salary range: $53,550 – $77,400 USD, dependent on experience and skills, plus eligibility for commissions.
