Lead Cafe Attendant at RIZZETTA & COMPANY INC – Land O' Lakes, Florida

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Cafe Manager with daily operations and act as key support during all shiftsPrepare and serve beverages, snacks, and light mealsPerform food preparation, basic cooking, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safetyOperate POS system for transactions, cash handling, and daily reportingHelp manage inventory: receiving orders, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and tracking usage to minimize wasteProvide warm, exceptional customer service to residents and guestsSupport opening and closing procedures to keep the cafe inviting and organizedMust have flexible availability, including weekends and varying shiftsEnsure compliance with health regulations and HOA policiesStep in to help guide day-to-day tasks and maintain smooth service flow

Schedule: Consistent hours, weekends required - This position is an hourly position + tips!

Required Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in a cafe, coffee shop, restaurant, or similar fast-paced food service environment (1+ years preferred)Proven skills in food preparation, basic cooking, and kitchen operationsFamiliarity with POS systems and cash handlingStrong inventory tracking and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesReliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well independently or as part of a small teamAbility to support leadership and help keep operations on trackFood Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
