Group is seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead the tactical execution of product development and product improvement projects across our scraper and earthmoving equipment brands.

As the Product Engineering Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our engineering and design teams, ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to release. You’ll manage timelines, workload, and engineering processes while helping your team solve technical challenges and deliver high-quality designs.
You will work closely with the Director of Product, who sets the strategic direction — your mission is to ensure the team executes that strategy smoothly and on time. key duties and responsibilities• Lead and support the daily work of the product engineering and design teams.• Manage project schedules, milestones, and engineering team capacity.• Ensure product designs, improvements, and documentation are delivered on time.• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Service to support manufacturing readiness.• Review and approve drawings, BOMs, and engineering changes.• Improve engineering processes, standards, CAD workflows, and documentation practices.• Mentor and guide engineers, designers, and EITs to develop their skills.• Provide technical support to solve design and production challenges. SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and mechanical systems.• Excellent organizational, communication, and team-leadership skills.• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Experience in heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or earthmoving equipment design.• Experience supporting prototype builds or new product introductions.• Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (P.Eng preferred).• 5+ years of experience in product design, mechanical engineering, or equipment development.• 3+ years of leadership or project management experience.• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault or SolidWorks and PDM equivalent.
