This role offers the opportunity to manage and oversee the full lifecycle of contracts supporting clinical studies and operational initiatives. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and tracking a variety of agreements while partnering closely with study teams and key stakeholders. Your work will ensure alignment with timelines, regulatory requirements, and internal standards, helping to maintain smooth and efficient study operations. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will play a critical part in improving contracting processes, maintaining metrics, and ensuring a seamless experience for internal teams and external partners. This is a highly visible role where precision, proactive communication, and stakeholder management are essential.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of agreements including clinical trial, vendor, consulting, and confidentiality contracts
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve or escalate contractual issues and maintain alignment with study timelines
- Maintain contract files and databases, including archiving and reporting on contract metrics
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve contract execution efficiency
- Identify process improvements and take corrective actions to enhance overall contracting workflow
- Provide regular updates to study teams regarding contract status and execution progress
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support clinical operations and business objectives
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, preferably with clinical trial agreements, vendor contracts, and site budgets
- Bachelor’s degree in law, scientific disciplines, business administration, or equivalent; postgraduate degree preferred
- Experience leading interactions with study teams and sponsors, ensuring deliverables meet defined timelines
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Competence in MS Office and other software tools for tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound business judgment, and ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion
- Preferred experience in creating contracting plans and guidelines for CTAs and budget negotiations
- Base salary range: $100,600 – $151,000 USD, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus
