Role OverviewWe are looking for an HR & Talent Partner based in Colombia to join our two-person HR & Talent team and support people operations across our global workforce. This role will primarily cover recruitment, operations, onboarding, HR administration, and employee experience during Eastern Time business hours, while also contributing to HR initiatives across the broader organization as needed.This is a hands-on role that blends recruiting with day-to-day people operations. You will work closely with the HR & Talent team and operate with a high degree of autonomy during your timezone.This is a six-month engagement to start, with the possibility to extend into a long-term partnership based on performance and evolving business needs. We are a growing company and the right person will have a clear path to becoming a permanent part of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitmentOwn recruiting and coordination: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and pipeline managementConduct interviewsManage job postings, candidate communications, and ATS (Kula) hygieneSupport hiring managers with interview scheduling and debrief coordinationHR Operations & AdministrationServe as the first point of contact for US and LATAM employee/contractor HR inquiriesSupport onboarding workflows for new hires: documentation, system access, orientation schedulingAssist with payroll coordination and contractor payment tracking via GustoMaintain employee records, track PTO, and support offboarding processesHelp coordinate benefits administration and compliance-related tasksPeople & Culture InitiativesContribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communicationsSupport the rollout of HR policies and processesAssist with workforce analytics, reporting, and ad-hoc HR projects as neededRequirements3–5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a generalist roleStrong English proficiency (written and spoken) – this is a fully English-speaking roleExperience with recruitment operations: sourcing, screening, ATS managementFamiliarity with US HR fundamentals: onboarding, payroll basics, benefits administration, employment law awarenessExperience working in distributed or remote companies across multiple time zonesComfortable with HR tools and platforms (experience with Gusto, Deel, or similar is a plus)Self-starter mentality – you will operate with significant autonomy during your timezoneBased in Colombia with reliable internet and a professional remote work setupNice to HaveExperience in healthcare, biotech, or clinical trial companiesFamiliarity with international contractor management and multi-country HR operationsExperience with LinkedIn Recruiter or modern ATS platformsPrior experience supporting both employees and independent contractors
