About This Position
Location: North Scottsdale, AZ (Located at East Bell Road and the 101)
Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000 annually (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time with Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and 401k)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shift (No nights, weekends, or major holidays)

Position Overview:
Envita Medical Center is seeking a Telehealth Oncology Patient Care Educator to join our growing team. This role serves as a compassionate and knowledgeable first point of contact for prospective patients exploring our specialized care programs.
This is a phone-based, relationship-driven position focused on engaging with individuals who have already expressed interest in our services. You will educate patients on our integrative, personalized approach to treating complex conditions, including late-stage cancer and Lyme disease, while providing empathetic support and guidance.
As a key part of the patient experience, you will help individuals and their families feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate important healthcare decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted liaison for prospective patients, providing education on Envita’s services and treatment philosophy
- Engage in high-volume inbound and outbound phone communication with professionalism and empathy
- Build meaningful, supportive relationships with patients facing complex and serious health conditions
- Listen actively to patient concerns and tailor conversations to meet individual needs
- Translate complex medical and technical information into clear, understandable language
- Guide patients through next steps and assist in coordinating their care journey
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Accurately document patient interactions in internal systems
- Maintain a strong commitment to patient service excellence, compassion, and ethical responsibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially over the phone
- Previous experience in customer service, patient care, or phone-based roles required
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to support individuals in sensitive situations
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate complex medical information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers and digital systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Passion for healthcare, patient advocacy, and making a meaningful difference
Preferred Experience:
- Background in healthcare, wellness, advocacy, or service-oriented roles
- Experience in patient intake, care coordination, client services, or consultative positions
- Experience supporting individuals through emotionally complex or high-stress situations
