Project Design Intern at elite | studio e – Farmingdale, New York

elite|studio e is a creative foodservice design/build studio specializing in hospitality venues, corporate cafés, dining environments, coffee bars, and commercial kitchens. We are a collaborative team focused on thoughtful, innovative design from concept through completion.

We are seeking a Summer Design Intern to join our studio. This is a hands-on opportunity for a motivated design student to gain real project experience, build technical skills, and work alongside experienced designers in a fast-paced, creative environment.

This position is based in our Farmingdale, NY office and follows a Monday–Thursday schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with conceptual design, space planning, and layout development
• Support finish, material, and furniture selections
• Help produce renderings and presentation materials
• Assist with project documentation in Autodesk Revit
• Participate in design meetings and team discussions
• Support day-to-day project coordination and organization
QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design or Architectural Design
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong interest in design
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a studio environment
• Reliable transportation to our Farmingdale, NY office
