Overview

We are seeking a Merchandiser for our Men’s Apparel categories to join our Merchandising team reporting to our Head of Merchandising. This role sets the commercial and product strategies that drive profitable growth — rooted in the identity of the brand, what the customer wants, and where the market is moving. This role ensures flawless execution through cross-functional alignment, decisive communication, and constant recalibration to keep the organization focused on the highest-return priorities while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing, and values-driven workplace.


This position is primarily based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn office and follows a hybrid schedule, dependent on role and business needs.


About the role

Essential Functions*:

Own and execute seasonal merchandising strategies for Men’s apparel categories, aligning assortments with brand vision, customer demand, and financial targetsEstablish and drive assortment big ideas & seasonal strategies through leading all stages of the product life cycle; including merchandising briefs, line plans, product architecture and allocation strategiesCreate well thought out, balanced and focused seasonal assortments through leading partnerships with Design, Planning, Sourcing, Technical Design & Product Development.Analyze sales performance, sell-through, and historical data to inform assortment decisions and line edits to make key decisions for in-season and future assortmentsManage style counts, pricing architecture, colorways, and delivery timing across assigned categories.Prepare for and lead men’s merchandising briefs, cross-functional team check-ins, and all assortment meetingsCollaborate with cross-functional partners to drive calendar adherence and on-time delivery.Conduct competitive market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the men's space
Partner with Planning on OTB, inventory strategies and financial forecasting.Own seasonal hindsight analysis and recap reporting.

What we are looking for

Skills & Requirements:

4-8 years of experience in merchandising or buying within Men’s apparel or a related retail categoryAn eye and passion for consumer behavior, trends and styles that enhance the brand, drive sales and compete within the marketplace.Ability to translate category into product architecture.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights including financial acumen & modeling (margin, turn, OTB understanding) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Toolio experience a plusStrong relationship building, organizational, communication, influencing and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple seasons and priorities in a fast-paced retail environmentBachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred


Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally.Must be able to access and navigate various department at the organization's facilities.

Pay Transparency & Disclaimer

$80,000 - $90,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
