EMPLOYER SPECIALIST at Veritas HHS LLC – Morganton, North Carolina

About the position

The Employer Services Specialist plays a key role in keeping child support payments flowing to families by serving as the primary liaison between our offices and the employers who process Income Withholding Orders. Day to day, that means monitoring IWO compliance, investigating payment lapses, and working with employers and noncustodial parents to get payments back on track — whether that's confirming a job change or coordinating when payments will resume. The role also includes handling inbound calls from employers at our Central Service Center, conducting proactive employer outreach, and providing general administrative support to keep operations running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitors Income Withholding Orders (IWOs) for employer compliance
• When payments lapse, contacts employer or NCP to determine reason for the lapse and 1) if NCP has changed jobs; and 2) when payments will resume
• Answers calls coming into the employer telephone queue at the Central Service Center and responds to employers’ questions
• Performs employer outreach regarding child support services
• Performs general administrative office support
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year’s experience in public contact position
• Strong communications skills
• Knowledge of computers and software (Microsoft Office)
