Product Development Flavorist
Location: Farmingdale, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time/On Site
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Friday 8:00am-2:00pm
Pay Rate: $80,000-$110,000 a year

Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Development Scientist to assist with product formulation development, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist R&D with powder formulations and development of new products from bench scale through commercialization
• Develop and optimize flavors, formulations, and specifications across multiple dosage or delivery forms
• Support scale-up, pilot production, and technology transfer to manufacturing
• Evaluate new ingredients, technologies, and suppliers to support innovation
• Conduct experiments, analyze data, and present technical recommendations
• Collaborate with other departments including sales, supply chain, quoting, and operations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in flavor development, formulation, or product development
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and manufacturing processes
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with multiple dosage forms or flavor systems preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices.
