ER Registration Representative- Patient Registration at Cookeville Regional Medical Center – Cookeville, Tennessee

The ER Registration Representative is responsible for serving as first impression of the facility while initiating the registration processes in a professional and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients. This position will gather patient demographic and insurance information along with discussing the patient’s financial responsibilities while adhering to the EMTALA laws governing emergency room patients. Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Knowledge of general office procedure and computers. Previous experience preferred in a medical setting involving clerical and basic medical terminology. Minimum of one year of clerical office setting required.
