TESTING TECHNICIAN at Swift Response LLC – Sunrise, Florida

Duties/Responsibilities:

Test Strength, shear, elongation, heat resistance, flexibility, and durability of new product samplesRun side-by-side comparisons of Flex Seal Products vs. competitorsHelp identify winning products worth launchingUse test equipment to measure performanceDocument your findings in a clear and organized wayWork closely with our product development and marketing teamsRequired Skills/Abilities:

Experience in working with adhesives, sealants, and/or building materialsBackground in lab testing, quality control, construction and/or mechanical testingAbility to design and build simple fixtures for product testingAbility to follow testing protocols and think analyticallyIt helps if you are mechanically inclined with automotive and/or construction experienceA can-do attitude and the ability to work independently or in a teamSomeone who fits in with the Flex Seal vibe: fun, passionate, and hands-on.Should be proficient with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and be able to present results in an organized and professional manner

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years of related experience desired

Must have a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

Good physical stamina for occasional long days, nights, and weekends as needed. Should be able to move and lift large heavy items and be physically fit. Able to work in a variety of environments (inside/outside) in South Florida weather.
