Role Overview

We’re supporting a large-scale mission-critical data center project in Clarksville, TN and are looking to bring on a Project Controls Manager with a strong electrical (medium voltage) background.

This is a high-impact role supporting the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure including MV systems, power distribution, and critical systems that keep data centers running at scale. You’ll be stepping into a fast-paced environment where coordination, visibility, and control of the project lifecycle are critical to success.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls functions across the electrical scope (cost, schedule, reporting)
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with MV installation, testing, and energization milestones
• Track and report on progress, risks, and performance metrics across electrical workstreams
• Partner closely with construction, commissioning, and QA/QC teams to ensure alignment
• Drive forecasting, cost tracking, and change management processes
• Identify schedule risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
• Support leadership with clear, concise reporting on project health and key deliverables
• Interface with Owner and GC teams to maintain transparency and accountability

• 7+ years of experience in project controls (cost/schedule) within construction
• Strong experience supporting electrical scopes, ideally medium voltage (MV) systems
• Experience on data center or other mission-critical projects
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, especially around electrical installation and energization
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with hyperscale data center clients (Google, Meta, Microsoft, etc.)
• Background working alongside commissioning or QA/QC teams
• Exposure to earned value management (EVM) or advanced cost tracking systems
