Job Title: Finance Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Finance Analyst to support our finance and operations team. This role combines general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and data processing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience with financial reporting under US GAAP, and excellent Excel skills. This person will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, supporting month-end close activities, managing financial records, and maintaining accurate reporting across the business. Experience working with multi-unit or retail environments is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Finance (Core Focus):

• Prepare and post journal entries based on monthly financial activity

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy

• Support month-end close processes and financial reporting activities

• Assist with financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP

• Maintain and update general ledger records

• Support cash management activities

• Expense & Reimbursement Management:

• Oversee company credit card transactions and ensure accurate coding

• Track and verify receipts, ensuring complete and compliant documentation

• Follow up with internal stakeholders regarding missing or incorrect submissions

• Provide guidance on expense submission processes

• Data Operations & Reporting:

• Perform daily data processing tasks (downloading, organizing, and uploading reports)

• Maintain data accuracy across systems (e.g., SharePoint)

• Support data tagging and GL coding

• Assist with reporting and data validation tasks

• Collaboration & Process Improvement:

• Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies

• Follow and maintain established workflows

• Participate in team reviews and process improvements

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close

• Experience with financial reporting (US GAAP)

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Sage Intacct (ERP system)

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with Ramp or similar expense management platforms

• Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools

• Experience in multi-unit or retail business environments

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST

• Remote work
