Role Overview

The Senior Account Specialist is an advanced individual contributor role supporting producer participation, reporting readiness, data accuracy, and compliance execution across assigned producers and segments. This role combines high quality operational delivery with elevated judgment, acting as a subject matter resource for Account Specialists and a key support partner to Account Managers and Segment Leads.

The Senior Account Specialist executes complex producer workflows with independence, handles escalated reporting and validation issues, performs deeper data quality reviews, and identifies root cause patterns that inform improvements to templates, SOPs, and producer guidance. This role ensures accuracy, consistency, and accountability across the producer compliance lifecycle while strengthening the operational foundation of segment teams.

Key Responsibilities

Producer Compliance Execution

  • Manage assigned producer accounts through onboarding, registration, reporting, and compliance follow through with minimal oversight.
  • Handle escalated producer cases requiring more advanced explanation, documentation review, or corrective steps.
  • Monitor compliance risks across assigned producers and proactively surface issues to the Account Manager or Segment Lead.
  • Coordinate with Account Managers on complex producer scenarios, reporting discrepancies, or segment level compliance trends.

Reporting Readiness & Segment Support

  • Lead readiness checks and documentation validation for assigned producers, ensuring they meet reporting timelines and data standards.
  • Provide deeper guidance for producers on reporting logic, documentation quality, and required corrections.
  • Maintain segment level visibility through consistent CRM updates and improve data completeness across producer records.
  • Identify recurring confusion points and recommend improvements to producer-facing templates, FAQs, and documentation.

Data Validation & Accuracy Checks

  • Perform complex data validation including cross-file reconciliation, anomaly detection, and consistency checks across multiple data inputs.
  • Work directly with producers on required corrections and clarifications; support Account Managers on more complex or high-risk adjustments.
  • Maintain audit ready documentation and ensure full traceability of validation outcomes.

Producer Experience & Support Quality

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned producers, providing high quality, compliant support.
  • Provide status updates during reporting and validation cycles and ensure producers understand next steps and requirements.
  • Support peak cycle producers support queues and mentor Account Specialists on case quality, tone, and SOP adherence.

Cross Functional Alignment & SOP Adherence

  • Ensure clean handoffs to Finance, CRM, Data Governance, Support Ops, and Education by preparing accurate, complete documentation.
  • Identify workflow gaps, recurring issues, and SOP inconsistencies and bring structured recommendations forward.
  • Contribute to updates of SOPs, templates, checklists, and segment level playbooks.
  • Act as a resource to Specialists for questions related to reporting standards, documentation requirements, and CRM use.

Skills & Competencies

  • 4-6 years in account coordination, customer support, data processing, or compliance related environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience in regulated industries, sustainability, consumer products, or member based organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, documentation standards, or operational workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and follow through skills; able to manage multiple producer timelines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with data, documentation reviews, and SOP driven processes.
  • High attention to detail with consistent accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Proactive in identifying issues and escalating appropriately.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to high quality execution
