What You’ll Lead

As Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services Department, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the nursing team
  • Establishing priorities, assignments, and departmental expectations
  • Monitoring resident care, documentation, medication administration, and care plans
  • Conducting regular rounds and participating in resident assessments and care
  • Managing admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Overseeing staffing, recruitment, orientation, training, and staff education
  • Supporting QAPI, infection control, MDS, care planning, safety, and other nursing programs
  • Managing department resources, supplies, and budgets
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
  • Promoting employee engagement, retention, accountability, and a positive workplace culture

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • 1–2 years of supervisory experience
  • experience in a long-term care setting
