Team Lead, Strategic Intelligence Services

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Team Lead, Strategic Intelligence Services in the United States.

This role combines hands-on intelligence expertise with team leadership in a client-facing, high-impact security environment. You will guide a team of intelligence analysts while actively contributing to client delivery, research, and platform-based intelligence operations. Acting as both a strategist and practitioner, you will ensure high-quality intelligence outputs that support enterprise security programs, risk mitigation, and threat response. The position requires strong operational ownership, balancing client engagement, service delivery excellence, and people development. You will work closely with enterprise clients to strengthen adoption of intelligence workflows and improve decision-making through actionable insights. In a fast-paced SaaS environment, you will help shape both team performance and client outcomes while driving consistency and quality across services.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Strategic Intelligence Services analysts while actively contributing to client-facing intelligence delivery.
  • Conduct and oversee intelligence research, investigations, and reporting to meet client security and business needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on intelligence workflows, methodologies, research tools, and reporting standards.
  • Drive client adoption, engagement, and retention through proactive support and ongoing advisory involvement.
  • Define, track, and manage service delivery metrics and OKRs related to adoption, quality, and customer success.
  • Standardize processes, promote documentation practices, and ensure consistent execution of intelligence services.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and service reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Approximately 7+ years of experience in intelligence, investigative research, security analysis, or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring or managing analysts or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of intelligence research methods, investigative tools, and report development practices.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients in a service delivery or client-facing capacity.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to professional audiences.
  • Familiarity with intelligence and research tools such as LexisNexis, TLO, Pacer, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Membership or engagement with professional associations such as ASIS, ATAP, or OSAC is a plus.
