Job Description
The RA Siegel Company is an Atlanta-based wholesale flooring distributor. We represent several major manufacturers. We also have our own private label lines of hard-surface flooring, including vinyl plank, wood, laminate, porcelain tile, sundries and rubber sports floors.
We are seeking a highly independent and self-motivated individual to grow our market share in the Atlanta Metro/Macon/August GA area as a Sales Representative.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of value-added selling and be able to deliver and create value to our customers based on their individual needs. Also, sales rep will be able to capitalize upon opportunities when presented. The ideal candidate be experienced in B2B, Manufacturing, or Wholesale Sales and have maintained a sales territory in the past.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Execution of territory plan at or above assigned targets with regard to volume and margins.
Present our product offerings to existing and new customers in a defined geographic market.
Increase market share by interfacing with key accounts.
Have ability to conduct sales training, in front of small or large groups.
Analyze market trends, competitive environment, and be prepared to submit feedback.
Interact with internal customers to assure proper communication and service levels are maintained.
Create demand by being a partner to provide solution to retailers.
Desired skills:
Self-starter with drive to run your own territory.
Track record of top tier performance as compared to peers and/or industry standards.
Effective persuasive skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for sales and customer service excellence.
Exceptional organization and time management skills.
High integrity and energy.
Basic utilization of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
Personal vehicle that will accommodate samples, in order to show customers.
Availability for occasional overnight travel.
Prior outside sales experience, flooring industry a plus.
B2B Sales, Manufacturers' Rep, or Wholesale Experience preferred.
Ability to Lift 75 lbs.
