This role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations and information technology, supporting the analysis, configuration, and ongoing optimization of clinical application systems. You will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of electronic health record (EHR) solutions while helping ensure system reliability, usability, and alignment with clinical workflows. Working within a highly collaborative environment, you will assist in troubleshooting issues, supporting upgrades, and documenting technical specifications and testing plans. - Provide support for the analysis, design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of healthcare application systems, ensuring stability and performance across operational environments
- Assist in troubleshooting application issues, performing basic impact analysis, and coordinating remediation efforts including vendor engagement when needed
- Support system upgrades, testing activities, and application improvements by contributing to test plans, documentation, and validation processes
- Learn and apply system development life cycle (SDLC) principles while adhering to technical standards and organizational best practices
- Collect and document technical requirements, assist in configuration activities, and ensure accurate system build and change management processes
- Participate in assigned projects and additional duties while supporting organizational goals, including diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; bachelor’s degree in health informatics, computer science, or related field preferred
- Around 2 years of experience in healthcare IT, electronic health record systems, or related technical support roles
- Familiarity with application development lifecycle concepts, system build, testing, and change management processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle basic technical issues and system troubleshooting
- Effective communication, organization, and time management skills with adaptability in changing priorities
- Epic certification may be required depending on assignment, with ability to complete certification within defined timelines if applicable
