- Position Pay Range: $25.05 - $36.03 per hour
Responsibilities
The Dispatcher, Transport will be responsible for coordinating various logistical functions in the office and warehouse including but not limited to, communicating with drivers and customers on a daily basis regarding deliveries and routes, dispatching according to service requested, and on-time delivery dates.

- Schedule driver routes with EFW business needs in mind.
- Reviewing driver logs, including dispatched calls and arrival time.
- Keep track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers are in compliance.
- Responsible to enter all dates into the computer systems, filling out all related paperwork, resolve any delivery issues, returns, and/or driver and helper issues.
- Manage all communication with appropriate local agencies regarding trucks, drivers, and helpers provided to EFW.
- Maintaining accurate records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.
- Ensure open communication within the Transport Department leadership.
- Handling any requests and complaints from customers.
- Answering phones for EFW Transport.
- Scanning documents and typing information into the computer system.
- Manage the consols and rates for the carriers.
- Oversee compliance of the delivery apps, handle calls and texts from drivers and helpers, and time in/out reports on their arrival and departures.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
- Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
- Thorough knowledge of WorldTrak.
- Must have proficient working knowledge of Dispatch Track.
- Must have some basic knowledge of the DOT and HOS rules and Regulations.
- Must be able to use a computer with the thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email and the Internet usage.
- Must be punctual to work and be able to handle stress and meet all deadlines in a timely manner with accuracy.
- Must be dependable and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, still with accuracy.
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Position functions with supervision and has no direct reports.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Normal office situation. Occasionally, while performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold and/or heat in the warehouse. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration in the warehouse. The noise level in the warehouse work environment is usually loud.
