A Day in the Life of an Inside Sales Specialist:
At Lookout Pest Control, Inside Sales Specialists are the heartbeat of our customer experience. Your day is a fast-paced mix of answering calls, closing deals, and helping people protect what matters most. You’re the friendly expert who listens, understands, and delivers quick, confident solutions that keep pests—and worries—away.
Every call is a chance to make a connection, solve a problem, and create a fan for life. You'll juggle leads, craft perfect service proposals, and work hand-in-hand with our field teams to deliver five-star service.
Essential Functions:
- Abide by company safety policies and regulatory requirements, including the sale of allowable services by phone
- Answer high-volume inbound calls
- Make outbound calls from generated leads and to existing customers
- Maintain a record of calls and activities in our customer relationship management system (CRM)
- Emphasize or recommend services based on knowledge of customers' needs.
- Work lead generation programs to discover customer needs and sell solutions
- Prepare and submit service agreements and pricing to customers
- Transact sales agreements and set up service in our CRM (PestPac)
- Collaborate with Outside Sales for referrals and lead generation on services that cannot be sold over the phone
- Meet monthly sales targets
- Stay aware of current pricing and the services and solutions the company offers
- Attend required training and meetings as prescribed
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Must be available to work a full shift, with schedules that may flex by up to one hour to support call center coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Must be computer literate
- Must obtain and maintain state-required licensing or registration
- Must be able to speak and read fluent English
- Demonstrated success and experience in inside sales preferred
- Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
