Overview of Job
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to work with our exceptional dentists!

Key Responsibilities
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepares patient for dental treatment.
- Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area.
- Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.
- Fabricates restorations; cleans and polishes removable appliances.
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification.
- Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
- Documents dental care services by charting in patient records
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Ensures operation of dental equipment
- Maintains dental supplies inventory.

Education and Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
- Valid X-ray certificate.
- Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
- CPR & first aid certificate.
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Operations Manager
