Parker's Paws Animal Hospital is a fast-growing, six-doctor practice in Nashville, TN. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to add to our amazing team to support our growth!

The right candidate should be customer-centered, and have a strong work ethic. Surgical assistant experience a plus! Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Assist doctors and other vet assistants with appointments and procedures
• Administer necessary medication
• Collect lab samples such as fecal, urine and ear cytology’s
• Restrain animals in a safe, efficient and compassionate way
• Document patient’s information in Avimark
• Obtain accurate vital signs and weight
• Be able to communicate with clients in a professional and compassionate manner

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a veterinary office a plus
• Must possess strong communication skills and have good judgement, a sense of urgency
• Must have good computer skills
• Must be able to physically and mentally be able to work in a fast and challenging environment
• Must be dependable, demonstrate strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
• Need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs
