This role offers the opportunity to shape engaging and intuitive user experiences for mobile games played by millions worldwide. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end game interfaces, from early wireframes to fully polished visual assets. Working in a highly creative and collaborative environment, you will partner closely with game designers, artists, and producers to align UX decisions with gameplay goals. The position combines strong visual craft with a deep understanding of player behavior and mobile usability principles. You will contribute to both the artistic direction and functional clarity of game interfaces, ensuring seamless and enjoyable player interactions. Operating in a remote-first setup, you will have the freedom to manage your schedule while contributing to impactful global game projects.
- Design intuitive, visually appealing UI/UX solutions for mobile games, including flows, layouts, and interactive systems
- Create wireframes, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups that support gameplay and player engagement
- Develop in-game UI elements such as HUDs, menus, pop-ups, icons, and system interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (game design, art direction, production) to ensure consistency between gameplay and visual experience
- Iterate designs based on feedback, usability insights, and performance or player behavior data
- Maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall feel and clarity of game interfaces across projects
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design within the gaming industry (mid to senior level)
- Strong portfolio showcasing released commercial game projects
- Excellent understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, usability, and responsive layout adaptation
- Strong visual design skills, including composition, typography, color theory, and hierarchy
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software
- Ability to design complete UX systems from concept to final UI execution
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
- Strong passion for games and understanding of player experience
- Nice to have: experience with game metrics, usability testing, and free-to-play mechanics
