Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy Position Summary

The Endo RN manages nursing care for endoscopy patients during the pre, intra and post procedural phases based on the Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. This Nursing care encompasses the biophysical, psychosocial, cultural, self-care, teaching and continuing care needs of the patients as appropriate to age and diagnosis.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy Position Requirements

• RN License
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• Experience in endoscopy/procedural nursing is preferred.
• A bachelor’s in nursing (BSN) degree is required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.
