The LAZ Hospitality Services team is a unique team within LAZ Parking dedicated to growth of all kinds through operational and financial excellence. The Hospitality Services team specializes in Hotel Partnerships across the country and excels at developing relationships through training, human connection, and career development for our employees and partners.
- Location: remote position with up to 5060% travel required. This may include task force visits of up to two weeks (maybe longer under extenuating circumstances).
The Spirit of the Position:
The National Director of Operations, Hospitality, is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing financial and operational performance across LAZ Parkings national hospitality portfolio (more than 4,000 employees). This role supports the Vice President, of Hospitality in driving company initiatives, developing talent, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across all hotel locations nationwide. The position requires a servant leadership mindset, strong operational acumen, a natural curiosity of continuous improvement, and the ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities:
Talent + Team Development
- Recruit, onboard, and support candidates for key hospitality roles.
- Identify and develop high-potential talent to drive organizational growth.
- Facilitate training and create learning opportunities for hospitality leaders.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Lead with empathy, encourage open dialogue, and promote resilience in overcoming challenges.
- Seek and create an environment of open idea-sharing and creative problem- solving.
Product + Operations
- Build and maintain client relationships to support business retention.
- Oversee hotel location operations nationwide, executing strategic initiatives and supporting teams in achieving annual and periodic goals aligned with LAZ Parkings culture.
- Travel to various regions to implement action items, remediate underperforming locations, and ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with client contractual agreements and serve as a liaison to parking patrons and stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Monitor and respond to service metrics (e.g., LAZ Service Shopper Reports) to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives related to compliance, audits, claims, safety, and financial tracking and reporting.
- Conduct financial underwriting and budgeting across multiple properties, maximizing revenue and managing expenses.
- Analyze hotel-specific financial activity and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
- Review and edit hospitality-related contracts and participate in hotel associations as directed.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license required.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience:
- 5+ years Management experience.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry (Parking, Restaurants, Hotels, etc) is preferred.
- Experience managing multi-site and state portfolios is preferred.
- Previous experience working in fast-paced environment with high customer expectations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
