About This Position
Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is seeking a new Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team! The Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of Coastal, ensuring our trucks are staffed to better serve our patients. Responsibilities include maintaining the field staff schedules for all levels of service, including changes to the schedule, time-off, and onboarding requirements for new team members.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinate and manage daily field staff schedules for all levels of service, including assigning shifts to Paramedics, EMTs, Chair Car Drivers, and Non-Traditional Field staff daily as needed.
- Manage daily changes to the schedules, including but not limited to, absenteeism, tardy, vacations, and shift swaps
- Track and record employee absenteeism.
- Proactively coordinate time-off needs.
- Review timecards and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Manage onboarding requirements for new team members including coordinating new schedules and training shifts.
- Other duties as assigned
Work Environment
- This is a primarily remote position, with the ability to travel to our Quincy location on a monthly basis.
- Rotating "on call" weekend shifts
- This is a 40 hour per week full time position, start and end times may vary.

Minimum Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 1-2 years in a healthcare scheduling position highly preferred. EMS strongly preferred.
- Collaborator, excellent communication skills, computer, math, and organizational skills.
- Working software knowledge of ESO Scheduling and Smartsheet is highly preferred.
- G-Suite knowledge preferred.
