Host at Row34 – Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Row 34 is seeking a welcoming Host to greet guests, seat them, and ensure a pleasant dining experience here in Portsmouth NH. The Host will coordinate reservations, manage the waiting list, and communicate with guests to provide accurate wait times.

Responsibilities:
1. Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
2. Manage the waiting list, seating guests in a timely manner.
3. Coordinate reservations and communicate with guests to confirm details.
4. Provide accurate wait times and monitor the flow of the dining room.
5. Assist with special requests and accommodations for guests.
6. Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to inquiries.
7. Maintain a clean and organized host stand area.
8. Collaborate with managers, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.

Job Qualifications:

1. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

3. Strong organization and time management skills.
4. Basic computer knowledge for reservation management.
5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Availability:
Weeknights (M-F) non-negotiable, weekends encouraged.
