Position Summary

Utilizing the Nursing Process of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating, the Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care; managing assigned personnel, and promoting collaboration among the multi-disciplinary health care team. The RN maintains open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation. Education

Associates Degree in Nursing - Required Experience

1-2 Years Surgical Nursing - Preferred License & Certification

Registered Nursing License with State of Practice - Required Professional Certification - Required upon hire or within one year of eligibility Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required for Holding Area and CVOR Core Job Functions

Implement hospital policies and procedures. Coordinates schedule with posting, anesthesia, surgeons and staff. Uses resources wisely. Promotes on time starts. Documents and scans all refill requests, new prescriptions, phone calls, laboratory and diagnostic results, medical equipment/supply orders, referrals, notifications, problems, appointments, contact information, and medical records to the EMR
