Job Title: AMOS Administrator
Location: Orlando, Florida
Department: Quality Control
Reports To: Manager Quality Control
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: The AMOS Administrator is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of aircraft component data, maintenance data, and financial data within the company’s inventory and maintenance tracking systems. This role supports quality assurance, regulatory compliance, configuration control, and finance by ensuring all component information, airworthiness data, and system inputs meet applicable aviation standards and company policies.
Essential Functions:
- Document significant professional growth and increased capability over a six-month period
- Independently resolve common operational issues, including:
- Booking errors
- Receiving discrepancies
- Order creation issues
- Possesses solid foundational knowledge in:
- Staff management functions within systems
- Program roles and permissions
- Working experience with direct AMOS database access, including:
- Correction of improperly imported orders
- Resolution of orphaned transfer orders
- Finance data inputs
- Capable of performing complex data corrections, such as:
- Resolving discrepancies between engine hours and airframe hours in imported component data
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Maintenance programs
- Component/part requirements
- Document linking and system limitations
- Experienced in updating Maintenance Programs, including:
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Revision upload errors
- Supporting ongoing implementation of Revisions
- Demonstrates and document continuous improvement, adaptability, and increased technical proficiency within a short timeframe
- Performs other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility: No
Qualifications & Skills:
- FAA Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, open to learning and teaching new software
- 3-5 Years of Aviation Maintenance related computer system experience
- Basic math, writing skills
- Must have a basic knowledge and understanding of applicable 14 CFR and associated regulatory/governmental publications related to performance of duties of the position
- Working knowledge of manufacture manuals (IPC/AMM, CMM or OVH), with the ability to learn and use required technical manuals
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) rating
- 3–5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, inspection, or aircraft records
- Experience with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., AMOS, LogLevel)

Travel Requirements:
- Up to 10% of domestic/international travel
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, copy machine/ printer.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
- Light to moderate lifting up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, light traffic).
- Ability to work in a confined office or open cubicle environment
