HOST in Twin Falls, Idaho at Oasis Stop N Go

Redhawk Gastropub is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Host/Food Runner to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a great guest experience from the moment guests walk through the door to the moment their food arrives at the table.

The Host/Food Runner is responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing the waitlist, answering phones, helping with reservations, running food, assisting servers, and helping keep the dining room organized and clean. This position requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Manage the seating chart and waitlist
• Seat guests in a fair and efficient rotation
• Answer phones and assist with reservations
• Communicate wait times clearly and accurately
• Assist guests with questions about the restaurant, menu, and seating options
• Run food from the kitchen to the correct tables in a timely manner
• Ensure plates are delivered accurately and presented professionally
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff when guests need additional items
• Help clear plates, reset tables, and maintain dining room cleanliness when needed
• Assist with to-go orders when needed
• Keep the host stand, entryway, menus, and waiting area clean and organized
• Work as part of a team to support servers, bartenders, bussers, and management
• Provide excellent guest service at all times

Requirements:

• Must be friendly, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to carry food trays and multiple plates safely
• Evening and weekend availability preferred
• Restaurant experience is helpful, but not required
