Job Description
K2 Claims Services is seeking a full-time Claims Assistant to join the Operations Team.
K2 Claims Services is a third-party administrator who handles claims nationwide for various insurance carriers. K2 Claims Services is a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services and is expanding its product offerings and distribution by developing new insurance programs and increasing the number and geographic diversity of its marketing, sales, and support staff.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem-solver who can employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills to work effectively both independently, in teams and with management. Ability to handle high volume calls while maintaining professional customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including word. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Work Arrangement & Schedule
This role may be structured as either hybrid or fully remote depending on candidate location:
- Pennsylvania-based candidates (Hybrid):
Candidates located in or near Harrisburg, PA will follow a hybrid schedule with a combination of in-office and remote work. The specific in-office schedule will be communicated during the interview process. - Non–Pennsylvania candidates (Remote):
Candidates outside of Pennsylvania will be considered fully remote.
Work Hours:
All candidates will be required to work 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time regardless of location.
The Claims Assistant’s activities include:
- Issue Payments for claims team
- Entering claims for all lines of business
- Answering phone calls and emails.
- Opening and distributing mail.
- Data entry in multiple systems.
Ideally, the Claims Assistant will have:
- High School Diploma
- 2-5 years’ office work experience, with insurance and/or customer service experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime occasionally.
- Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Pay Range: $18-$22/USD per hour
