Position Highlights:
- This position is based in Sioux Falls, SD. Occasional travel to satellite clinics may be required.
Job Summary
- The Physicist oversees the radiation therapy equipment and acceptance.
- The Physicist consults with the Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists and Physicists concerning patient dose, radiation exposure and safety.
- The Physicist oversees the radiation quality assurance programs and development.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate degree in Medical Physics required.
- Graduation from CAMPEP accredited residency program required.
- Successful completion of part one of ABR certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or minimum ten years of experience as a practicing medical physicist required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Board eligibility for ABR preferred.
Work Schedule
- 8:00am-5:00pm, occas wknd/hol/call; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
Salary will be commensurate based on experience and board certification.
