Pay Range: $55.87 - $69.12 per hour

$12,000 Sign On Bonus

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Lead Radiologic Technologist will assist the supervisor in the day to day operation of the department, manage the Quality Control Program, and function as a clinical instructor to the student technologists

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required,
  • Must have ARRT NM and/or NMTCB
  • CPR certified through American Heart Association or obtained within six months of hire,

Preferred:

  • 3-5 years hospital experience as a lead/chief technologist preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Fulfills all the requirements of a Staff Technologist
  • Liaison between radiologists, clinical staff and management
  • Keeps up to date with established departmental policies and procedures including informing the staff in your modality,
  • Assist in obtaining ACR certification
  • Participates in quality assurance activities completing all required documentation for the continuous improvement of patient care
  • Assists with the maintenance of supplies and equipment,
  • Responsible for all quality control testing
  • Provides feedback to management and may be required to complete employee performance evaluations,
  • Performs additional duties as required
