Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Network Engineer with Project Management expertise to lead and manage network projects within our nuclear facility in Point Beach, WI. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and the ability to lead and manage IT and network projects within our nuclear facilities. This role requires a candidate with a "bulldog" mentality who ensures that teams are held accountable and remain focused on project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage network projects within the nuclear facility, ensuring timely and successful completion.

• Hold nuclear IT teams accountable for meeting project milestones and deliverables, maintaining a high level of performance and efficiency.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure all network infrastructure is compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other departments as needed.

• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

• Maintain and improve network security protocols to protect sensitive information.

• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT network engineering and project management.

• Strong technical background with expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

• Proven experience managing complex IT and network projects.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to work unescorted in the nuclear facility.

• U.S. citizenship required.
