Support is accomplished in a variety of ways:
• Review of basic skills (practicing vital signs and health assessment)
• Assist students with Deliberate Practice (DP) including tracking student visits i
• Help students with any skills needed (vital signs, BP, catheterization, injections, etc.)
• Help with set up and break down of simulation events
• Assist with keeping the SLRC maintained

Requirements:Students in good academic standing; full-time enrolled College of Nursing studentAdditional Information:

• Lab Assistant/Peer Mentors must supply two references from clinical faculty. Please upload these to your application.

Physical Demands Summary:

• Assist with lifting/moving full body sized mannequins in excess of 25 lbs, medical equipment, beds, tables, carts, audiovisual equipment.
• Requires manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and standing for periods of time.
