The Briar Team, Central Florida's top family-owned Site Development Construction company, is looking for hard-working and experienced (non CDL) Operators of Loaders, Bulldozers and Excavators for immediate hire with excellent pay and benefits, performance bonuses, profit sharing, generous vacation pay and yearly loyalty bonuses, in addition to training and opportunities for growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$25.00- rate based on skill level and equipment you are hired to operate

Expected hours: 40 – 55+ per week

As a construction Operator, you will operate heavy equipment such as Loader, Dozer or Excavator for either dirt and clearing or Pipe crews. Tasks include loading and hauling material around the job site in a safe manner, digging ponds and trenches, rough and finish grade work, root raking, using grade stakes or GPS to lay in roadways, slopes and more. To be successful in this position, you must have a valid driver's license, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks throughout the day.

Construction Equipment Driver Responsibilities:

1. Operate Heavy Equipment such as: Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Backhoe, Track Hoe
2. Drive equipment to load/haul material around the jobsite in a safe manner.
3. Follow Grade Stakes or use GPS to perform rough or finish grading tasks for ponds, slopes and roadways.
4. Dig trenches to install trench boxes and install underground pipe work.
5. Clearing trees and debris, use of root rake as needed.
6. Operate heavy equipment such as Roller, Sweeper, Water Truck, Skid Steer on an as-needed basis.
7. Perform daily inspections / maintenance of assigned truck.
8. Perform manual labor as necessary on the job site.
9. Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Schedule:

1. Monday - Friday. Saturdays on an as-needed basis. 6:45am-4:45pm
2. Full Time
3. Overtime
4. No overnights or over the road travel. No per diem pay.
5. Jobsite Range: Palm Coast, FL to St Cloud, FL
6. Year-round work

Job Requirements:

1. Must pass equipment test (selected candidates will be invited for testing prior to job offer)
2. Valid Driver's License
3. Reliable transportation to assigned jobsite
4. Experience preferred (Dozer, excavator, loader operator experience)
5. Ability to lift heavy loads
6. Excellent stamina
