Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the federal government contracting space. This role involves identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and leading business development efforts.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $110,000 to $120,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a growth strategy for federal government contracts
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
• Lead capture management and proposal development efforts
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in business development and capture management within federal government contracting
• Experience in professional services and proposal development
• Strong understanding of federal contracting methods and procurement processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and federal opportunity sourcing tools (SAM.gov, FedConnect, Deltek GovWin)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 8(a) Federal contracting.
• Knowledge of Shipley Proposal Methods.
