About This Position

Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion training program.

Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. A non-certified new graduate may practice under direct supervision of an Illinois licensed perfusionist if board eligible and actively seeking board certification. A non-certified perfusionist seeking certification must achieve certification within one calendar year from the date of graduation from an accredited perfusion school.

Licensed by the state of Illinois or license requirements being actively pursued. Non-licensed perfusionist may practice under direct supervision of Illinois licensed perfusionist, (as indicated by Perfusion Practice Act, Illinois Department of Professional Regulation, 2002), for time period of up to one year from date of graduation from an accredited perfusion school while actively seeking certification and licensure.
