Job Description

In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst II with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols.

Provide analytical support in Marine Corps acquisition programs and life cycle management events; familiarization with acquisition policy/principles, and interfacing with government principals. Ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards. Develop and/or review acquisition documentation and program reports. Provide support for document management and Supply Chain Plan updates for PdM ACV to include, but not limited to:

  • Stock List Level 3 (SL-3) for the ACV-P and ACV-C;
  • Supply Instruction (SI) for the ACV-P;
  • Fielding/Disposal Plan;
  • Parts Management Plan;
  • Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plan;
  • GP Management Plan;
  • Provisioning Requirements Statement (PRS);
  • Package, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) Plan; and
  • Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Plan
  • Packaging, handling, and arranging transportation of end items and support items (e.g., special tools and equipment, support equipment, and logistics support analysis);
  • Provide DMSMS support by participating in DMSMS IPTs and coordinating DMSMS Management Plans annual updates with the Government;
  • Participate in IUID efforts for and coordinating IUID Plan updates with the Government, as necessary

Education / Experience:

Bachelors Degree with two to four (2-4) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning.

Specific / Preferred Requirements:

  • Position requires Secret Security Clearance
  • Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities required
  • Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred requisite knowledge and experience equivalent to the Defense Acquisition University Core Certification Standards for Life Cycle Logistics at the Foundational Level
