Cert Reg Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at St. Claire Regional Medical Center – Morehead, Kentucky

UK St. Claire is seeking a skilled, motivated, and dynamic CRNA to join our growing anesthesia department in Eastern Kentucky. As the hospital expands surgical services and adds new service lines—including spine, vascular, orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, OB anesthesia, acute pain, and regional anesthesia—we are looking for a CRNA who brings strong clinical ability and an energetic, team-oriented personality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides consultative services to other providers and complete procedures entailing significant risk.
• Treats patients in a faithful, diligent, and skillful manner by current acceptable standards of practice in the CRNA’s professional specialty, applicable to state and federal laws and regulations, and accrediting body standards.
• Consults physicians concerning matters outside his/her scope of practice or professional specialty.
• Assists with training and education of students and other personnel within the CRNA’s professional specialty.
• Assists emergency physicians in treating emergency department patients promptly.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and OR efficiency initiatives
• Bring excellent communication, professionalism, and a dynamic presence to the team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nurse Anesthesia
• Previous CRNA experience preferred
• Valid Kentucky Board of Nursing RN license
• Valid Kentucky Board of Nursing APRN-CRNA license
